Mint Cookies
December 7, 2008 at 9:23 pm | In Fundraising | Leave a CommentWe have been doing a great job selling mint cookies this fall. So far we have sold 170 of 200 cases. That means there are still 30 cases to go. Talk to Kerri in the Guide Office if you are able to take a case or two out on consignment or if your unit is able to sell cookies at Canadian Tire on Dec. 14th.

Our classic chocolate and vanilla cookies which we sell in the spring will now have 90% less trans fat. These cookies will be available in the spring, 2009. Although these cookies will have less trans fat they will still have the same great taste we all expect.

If you haven’t completed your Safe Guide training yet there are two upcoming opportunities for you.
Dec. 22, 7:30 Mountain Time, 90 minutes in duration – via teleconference. Alberta is offering this teleconference to all of their members. A powerpoint will accompany the call so you will need access to a phone and a computer. Let Kerri know if you are interested in this opportunity by Dec. 16th and she will make sure you have the call in number (a toll free number) and the powerpoint.
January, time and date to be determined. This will also be via teleconference but will be a session specifically for Yukon guiders. A general orientation to Yukon guiding will follow this Safe Guide training session.
